LIC Housing dips by over 4%

LIC Housing Finance share on bourse dropped as the company posted its Q1FY18 results lower than the industry estimate.

LIC Housing Finance’s NII for the quarter grew 9.2% yoy to Rs 936.95 crore. The provisions declined by 10.3% yoy to 104.46 crore. However the net profit for the quarter increased 15.3% yoy to 470.06 crore.

LIC Housing Finance Ltd is currently trading around Rs 691.5, down by Rs 29.4 or 4.08% from its previous closing of Rs 720.9 on the BSE.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 794.1 on 20-Jun-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs 470 on 09-Nov-2016.
