Pantomath Capital Strengthens Role in India’s IPO Market

Pantomath Capital Advisors is strengthening its position as a homegrown investment banking partner for Indian companies preparing to enter the public markets. The firm has been expanding its work with businesses across industrial, infrastructure, power equipment and technology sectors, helping them transition from privately held enterprises to professionally governed listed companies.

The development comes as India’s primary market maintains a substantial pipeline of potential public offerings. According to Mahavir Lunawat, Chairman and Managing Director of Pantomath Capital, the IPO pipeline stands at around ₹3.86 lakh crore, comprising approximately ₹2.43 lakh crore from companies that have received SEBI approval and another ₹1.44 lakh crore from companies awaiting approval.

Pantomath was also among the domestic investment banks involved in the National Stock Exchange IPO and ranked among the top five domestic bankers in the anchor segment. The firm has additionally managed mandates including Quality Power Electrical Equipments and is associated with upcoming offerings such as Silverton Industries and Zetwerk.

The investment bank is positioning IPO preparation as a broader transformation rather than simply a fundraising exercise. Its approach includes strengthening governance, financial reporting, internal controls, disclosures, valuation and investor communication before companies approach public markets.

The expansion reflects the growing role of domestic investment banks in connecting India’s expanding entrepreneurial base with institutional and retail capital.
