Federal Bank Empanelled on MCA SPICe+ Portal for New Companies
Federal Bank has been empanelled on the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) SPICe+ portal, enabling newly incorporated companies to open bank accounts through an integrated digital process. The initiative is designed to simplify the post-incorporation banking process by allowing eligible companies to access banking services through the MCA’s digital incorporation framework, reducing the need for separate onboarding procedures.
The integration can improve operational efficiency and customer onboarding for newly incorporated businesses by connecting company-registration and banking processes more closely. For banks, such digital integration can also strengthen automated KYC and onboarding controls while reducing manual intervention. As more financial services become embedded within government and business platforms, banks will need to maintain strong digital identity verification, data security, compliance and fraud controls alongside faster customer acquisition.
