United Bank of India moved a step ahead towards Digital Banking by Launching “United e Collect“– A digital Platform for Online Payment / Fee Collection Services.

United Bank of India, a leading Public Sector Bank in India having it’s headquarter at Kolkata, has moved a step ahead towards Digital Banking by Launching “United e- Collect” – A digital Platform for Online Payment / Fee Collection Services.

The Digital Product “United e- Collect” is launched by Sri. Pawan Bajaj, Managing Director & CEO in presence of Sri. Ashok Kumar Pradhan, Executive Director, Sri. Deepak Chandanani, Chief Executive Officer, M/s World Line India Private Limited and other Senior Executives of the Bank.

“United e-Collect” is rolled in collaboration with M/s World Line India Private Limited, a reputed Electronic Payment Processor / Aggregator,   for extension of Online Payment / Fee Collection Module with Payment Gateway for electronic Collection. A Service Level Agreement in this regard is executed between Bank and M/s World Line India Private Limited to render the digital services.

Speaking on the occasion, Sri. Pawan Bajaj emphasized that the Digitization process initiated across the country created huge demand by Corporates and Other Institutions for Online Payment / Fee Collection Services.

Launching of “United e-Collect” will help Bank to extend the Online Payment / Fee Collection Facility to different Schools/ Colleges/ Institutions/ Government Departments/ Corporate Houses etc which ultimately will help Bank in strengthening its CASA & Non Interest Income and the merchants to get on boarded on the digital platform seamlessly.

Sri. Ashok Kumar Pradhan, Executive Director, said that with introduction of “United e-Collect” the Bank will remain in a competitive advantageous position in comparison to other Market Players and the visibility of the Bank will also be leveraged before the customers and public at large.

The Bank is also offering various alternate channel products like Debit Card, Mobile Banking, Internet Banking, UPI, ATM etc to the customers for availing Banking services in digital modes.
