Murthy suggests solution to problem of layoffs
Infosys co-founder N.R. Narayana Murthy expresses his view that IT companies can protect the jobs of youngsters if senior executives take pay cuts.
He added that the industry has dealt with the issue several times in the past. Mr. Murthy said he has no doubt that all industry leaders have good intentions to solve the problem of layoffs.
“There are a lot of smart leaders in the industry, but I have no doubt at all that they are all well-intentioned people. It is possible for us to protect the jobs of youngsters if the senior management – adjustment of taking salary cuts,” he added.
